In this photocollage I will show you a quick overview of my Christmas home tour of 2018. I will start with my Christmas tree: my tree is a mix of a romantic bronze with a touch of Scandinavian flavour. Almost all the elements are from the shop Pelckmans garden center. It’s just that this shop is close by. I used romantic rose flowers and other ornaments together with nature elements like fluffy owls , jute strings, pine cones, … Those I mixed in with my bronze and gold Christmas balls. As finishing touch, I used white and bronze feathers.

Christmas cards and gifts
At one corner of my living room, I held up more classic Christmas decorations with a red Christmas rose, red candy canes, … I used a red string with red and green pegs to hold up my Christmas cards. I also put up my self-made presents : Christmas soaps. They are know on display next to my Christmas rose, but the meaning is that I give them to my family this holiday season as extra present.
Christmas wall decorations
This year I started out with Christmas garlands, I saw them on Pinterest everywhere and I wanted to start as well. I just have miscalculated how many Christmas ornaments you have to put in these garlands. So this year, I didn’t have enough ornaments according to me. But hé, I started.
In my living room, I kept it very simple with a bowl of Christmas ornaments : balls, pinecones, glitter, … and some bronze stars as decoration. Also I used simple vases with glitter branches to make it a little bit festive. Also I bought some metallic shine chandeliers and other cozy candles to finish it off.
When I was filming this blog “my Christmas home tour”, I was still busy decorating. I also cleaned out my selfmade flower arrangements, put some new paint on my Christmas metal tree ornaments and put some lights at my front porch.
I really love the spirit of Christmas and I enjoy coming home with all these nice cozy, lighted elements in my home.
Enjoy the holidays. I hope you loved my home Christmas tour of 2018. Please leave your comments below.
