My neighbor Joke is for as long as I know a Victoria Jewelry representative. She always does an amazing job and this time I found it a good opportunity to have some friends and family and neighbors over to have a nice get-together. I love entertaining people and having friends and family over. So it was a wonderfull idea to organize this silver themed jewelry party.
Having a jewelry party is a good initiative for a small get-together during workweeks. We all have busy lives, but when you schedule a mini-party like this jewelry party during a weekday, a lot of friends and family will take the time to come visit you and get a nice get-together and have a great time.
Everyone likes jewels and a nice time, so this is an ideal entertainment idea.
OK, let’s go…
1: Book your silver themed jewelry party in advance
I asked my neighbor Joke (Victoria jewels representative) when she had the time to organize a jewelry party at my home. I picked a date a couple of months ahead, so I had enough time to organize it and let my friends know in advance that
I choose Victoria Jewelry for my party, because of my lovely neighbor Joke, but please choose the one you love or even sell your own self-made jewelry.
Don’t forget to save the date in your calendar!
2: Inviting people to your silver themed jewelry party
OK, so you know the date in advance, now what?
Months in advance
The date I set was months to come, so that’s why at first I just sent a WhatsApp message to my closest family and
2-3 weeks in advance
I made a Facebook event inviting friends, family, and neighbors with a fixed date and hour, where they can just easily click if they’re coming or not. I find this
I also added the digital jewelry catalog file and link to the Victoria website on this Facebook page, so they already could have a sneakpeek of what’s to come.
Also I tell it again to my closet family and friends that I see more often.
1-2 weeks in advance
About 2 weeks in advance I went to Joke to organize the little things. She gave me invites and catalogs and flyers to give to my friends, families and neighbors for invites.
It was mostly filled in, but I had to write the date and other basic details on it. Those invites (also jewelry catalogs and flyers) I spread around to my closet friends and family and neighbors. So they could take already a peek at the jewelry assortment and have a choice in mind.
At the Facebook event, I also put the link digitally, but having something in hand, is always nicer and better. But that’s only my opinion.

2 days in advance
Count the people that are coming to your Silver themed jewelry party and start prepping your decorations and getting your supplies to make the silver themed appetizers for your guests.
Oh, ask your husband to do something nice with your kids that evening. So you can focus on your guests on your jewelry party.
3: Decorating your silver themed jewelry party
I wanted to make something special out of this jewelry party, so I wanted to have a theme that I can work with. I tried to make my appetizers and decorations in jewel-shape forms, but that didn’t work out. After a lot of brainstorming, I have chosen to go with the silver “
Silver themed jewelry appetizer buffet bar
People that are coming to your jewelry party are most often standing around the table with jewels for trying on and selecting precious ones that they can ware with a lot of nice outfits.
Therefore I’ve chosen to make a silver themed buffet bar, so people can take those little bite appetizers when they want. I also made sure that al my appetizers were easily grabbable without having greasy hands that could contaminate the jewels.
This silver themed appetizers were also placed on nice platters that I can walk around with if necessary, to mingle around my guests.
I used different levels at my buffet bar to give it more interest. Put some items flat on the table and other on different heights using plates, glasses, …
Every silver “bling bling” peace that you have from carnival or other partys, you could use as decorations for your jewelry party.
You could even put your silver glitter ornaments from Christmas in a vase as decorations.
Silver napkins are a great option for a silver themed jewelry party, you could also use glitter napkins or napkins with jewels on it, if you can find it in the stores.
Having silver platters for your appetizers also fits this silver themed party. If you don’t have it on hand, you could ask your grandmother, she probably has some. If not, white also shows really nice.
Silver candles is also a great decoration addition. There are also glitter candles on the market, if you find them it will give an extra great effect.
Silver table paper
I used an old desk in my dining room and transformed it with grey (silver) paper tablecloth into my buffet bar. I sprinkle the paper with some glitters to give it a more “bling bling” effect.
Silver food notes
I found diamond shaped card holders in the AVA store and placed some silver name tags in it. I wrote with a gold (I prefer white, but that I didn’t had at the moment) pen the name of my appetizers on it.
Silver feathers and stars
I used silver feathers and stars as small table decoration on my tables to give it a more “bling bling” effect.
Silver and glitter candy I put between my appetizers for glitter silver effect. These are chocolate balls with a kind of glitter effect. I bought them on AVA at the birth department.
Silver glitter bows
Glitter bows are a cheap decoration option that I placed at different places. Also at my buffet bar.
A mirror is not only great for people to watch their jewelry that they are waring, but gives also a reflecting effect on all the silver and glitter items on your buffet.
Silver or glitter flags are also an easy and cheep decoration option for your silver themed jewelry party. I hang up several of them. One above my buffet bar.
Silver themed jewelry side decoration
Besides my buffet table, I place random silver decoration around my dining and living room to make a whole complete piece.
I made a place at my kitchen bar for extra supplies, like napkins and straws and foodpickers that they could easily take.
I also put a welcome sign at my front porch and used silver hanging items on my ceeling.
Silver honeycombed items
Silver honeycombed shaped items are placed above the jewelry table.
I set aside some extra silver straws and star shaped skrewers for the drinks as well as some extra foodpickers in a nice bowl with silver feathers and silver grey stones.
Also extra napkins I put a side.
I put at my front porch a welcome sign to give an immediate warm welcome to my guests.
Silver themed jewelry party table decoration
I have 2 extra tables placed at my living room, because I needed my normal table for the jewelry. I put some black table covers on top of it to make it more special.
I placed also some silver decor items on the tables together with some sparkle jewelry quotes that are fun to read.
I put a silver plate in the center of my table where I put all my other decorations on it.
Silver pearls and feathers
I found old “fake” silver pearls from my grandmother and placed it on top of my silver plate for decoration. I finished it off with silver feathers.
Sparkle jewelry quotes
I found some nice quotes on Pinterest about jewelry and printed and laminated them. I placed them on silver photo stands.
I put in nice little bowls silver sugar candy and glitter chocolate balls. They are eatable and at the same time a decoration peace.
The Victoria jewel representative normally has mirrors with her so people can see their jewels on, but If you have some mirrors at spare , you could use them for your guests. A big mirror is also a nice and easy extra touch for this jewelry party.
A lot of people had the jewelry catalog beforehand and also at the evening itself the Victoria representative had extra on hand.
Myself had some extra catalogs on hand that I didn’t gave to people and I placed them on the toilet on the tables and side-tables, so people are able to watch in it.

Food and drinks decoration
For your food and drinks decoration you could use everything in a jewel or star shape or everything in a silver or glitter color.
I found eatable glitter a nice option, but didn’t found it at my grocery store. Maybe you find it? I also wanted to make cake-pops covered with white chocolate and silver sprinkles, but due to some technical issues, I wasn’t able to make those. Maybe you can?
Silver napkins around the glasses
I put some silver napkins around the glasses for an instant party effect.
Silver straws and skewers
I used silver straws and skewers for food and drink decoration.
Silver platters and bowls
Silver platters give an instant jewelry party effect. Mix them with your whites.
Cakes with silver icing, silver sugar candy, eatable silver glitter in your drinks,… all options are open.
4: Drinks and foods for your silver themed jewelry party
My jewelry party was during a weekday, so I knew it wasn’t getting that late. Also I knew that a lot of people where by car, so I had a lot of non-alcoholic drinks. Most of them drunk the Mojito aperitif and then went over to my fruit waters.
Pore some fruit juice and cocktail a half an hour in advance in the nice glasses. When your guests arrive (normally all at once), you have everything set.
A cocktail: Mojito
- Lime juice from fresh limes
- Sparkling water
- Sugar syrup
- Fresh mint leaves.
This time I’ve chosen for a simple Mojito version that I made beforehand in a grand carafe. Mix the rum with the lemon juice and the sugar syrup together with sparkling water and add a lot of mint leaves. Mix according to your taste.
I made sure my drinks were in the fridge before serving them. When serving I put some ice cubes in the carafes. I wish I had silver plastic ones, but I didn’t had it at the moment.
A mocktail: Water with citrus
For the mocktail I’ve chosen just to put a carafe with water filled with limes and lemons.
Other drinks: fruit juice
I also served fruit juice in a nice bottle that they can just take. Other drinks like beer, cola, ice tea, … they could find in my fridge in the garage.
I made all my appetizers myself, but there is nothing wrong with some store-bought cake. It’s up to you. Just make sure that you are having something little to eat at this jewelry party.
Do you need other inspiration for appetizers, check out my blogpost on freezer party recipes.

I peeled the potatoes and cut them in wedges. I chopped the onion and the bell peppers in little pieces. I chopped also the dried tomatoes. Put some olive oil in a heated skillet and put in the potato wedges (cook beforehand, if you are not sure they will be cooked). Bake for about 5 minutes.
Add the onion and bell pepper pieces in the skillet. Stir regularly for about 10 minutes.
Mix the eggs with some salt and pepper. Then add to the mixture some
Pour the mixture into the skillet. Cook about 10 minutes until the eggs are steady.
When the eggs are steady, flip the tortilla for the last 2 minutes. Ready to serve hot or cold.
These little tortilla pieces I put on a cake stand with a silver star as decoration. I served this platter cold, I also made sure that the tortilla wasn’t greasy to touch. I had napkins on hand to make eating more easy.
Cakepops / cake
Normally the plan was to make cake-pops covered in white chocolate with silver sprinkles, but due to technical

- Store-bought green pesto
These stare shape crackers I bought in the store and I filled it with also store-bought green pesto. I placed them on little silver platters.
5: Entertainment for your silver themed jewelry party
The Victoria representative had 2 mini games on that evening for some entertainment, but nothing hold you back to do the same.
Watching jewelry and fitting them is the main entertainment from the whole evening. So make sure you have enough space free for placing all the jewels and also a place that the Victoria representative could do her administration?
Pick a number
Give your guests some little notes and something to write. Say that they have to put down a number between 1 and 20 for example. You right a nr down for yourself. If someone has the same number as the one you wrote down they have one. In our case they won a piece of jewelry from a previous Victoria collection.
Pick an order
From all the people who ordered some jewelry they will get an order confirmation. From all the order confirmation, you could pick one and give them a gift or our case the Victoria representative gave 5 euro discount to that person.
Make sure you have enough free space for placing all the jewelries. A table, a desk, …
Normally the Victoria representative has a way to pay digital, but maybe to make sure have some change around.
6: What to do after your silver themed jewelry party ended?
After the evening itself, you have to wait about a week to get your jewelry and then it’s time to get it to the clients.
This is the last thing that you have to do as host and say again a great thanks for bying and coming to the evening.
I hope you find a lot of inspiration and tips for your next party. Let me know in the comments what you like the most of these party decorations?
Oh, there is an Instagram giveaway that ends Monday 17/06/2019 GMT+02.
